100% completion where you must remove every single peg from the level. If you manage to battle your way through all the challenges, one final trial awaits you, in quick mode. Once you have completed the story mode, there is also a challenge mode which takes you through the same levels but with a variety of challenges such as completing the level with a reduced number of balls or beating a certain score. Your progress is hampered by the fact that there are also blue pegs in your way to try and block you. The aim of the story mode aspect of the game is to clear all the orange pegs from the screen to progress to the next level. The premise of the game is very simple, it is puzzle oriented in nature and involves using a pinball machine like mechanism to fire little metal balls. I am delighted to say that it has now made it onto the iPhone and it has immediately taken a place amongst my very favourite apps. Since it’s inception, the game has been created for a wide number of platforms including Xbox, Playstation and Nintendo DS amongst others. PC gamers will no doubt be familiar with the game Peggle which launched in 2007 and was developed by software house PopCap Games. A good example of an IMAP mail server would be free services such as those from Yahoo or Gmail.Ī limitation in the past was that space was limited so you had to make sure you frequently deleted messages after reading them in order to avoid problems however with the price of disk space constantly dropping and services such as those mentioned above by Google allowing huge ammounts of storage, IMAP really does seem to be the future of email at the moment. IMAP, which stands for Instant Message Access Protocol is a more modern method of retrieving your email where everything is stored centrally on a server and you can view your entire inbox online. This is all well and good but if you find yourself frequently checking your mail on different pieces of hardware then your email can easily become fragmented as you will have varying versions of your inbox on each machine where you check your mail. POP stands for Post Office Protocol and is the oldest and most common type of account and the major difference between POP and IMAP is that your mail is downloaded to whatever device you are using before you read it. There is a lot of jargon associated with email, and a LOT of acronyms so I thought today I would try to give a quick explanation of the two common ones which I mentioned above, POP and IMAP. The interface is clean and quick to respond and, with the latest os update, it has really nice handling for multiple accounts, allowing you to easily handle multiple POP or IMAP email accounts on a single phone. One area for me, where the iPhone really and truly shines is in it’s handling of email.
